Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hannah Lynea, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Remote Role Finder (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address and password (handled by our authentication provider), and account type (job seeker or employer).
• Profile and preferences: job search filters, saved jobs, job alert keywords, and application tracker notes you enter.
• Resumes: resume files you upload, and any resume drafts you create with the resume builder.
• Employer listings: job postings and company details you submit if you use an employer account.
• Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid membership, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly — we receive only a subscription status and billing reference, never your full card number.
• Usage information: basic technical information (such as browser type and general activity on the Service) needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To provide the Service: matching you with jobs, saving your searches and applications, storing your resumes, and sending job alerts you've set up.
• To provide AI-assisted features you opt into (resume-to-job matching, resume feedback, and the AI resume builder), which involves sending the relevant resume or job text to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate that response for you.
• To process payments and manage your membership, through Stripe.
• To maintain and secure the Service, including detecting abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account, such as billing or security notices.

3. AI-assisted features

AI features (resume matching, resume feedback, and the resume builder) are opt-in, controlled from Account → Preferences. When you use them, the relevant resume text and/or job description is sent to our AI provider to generate a response; it is not used to train the provider's models for other customers.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Service:

• Supabase — hosting, authentication, database, and file storage for resumes.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Anthropic — AI processing for the opt-in AI features described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Remote Role Finder or our users.

5. Employer-submitted listings

If you submit a job listing as an employer, the listing content and company details you provide (excluding your account email) are intended for public display once approved.

6. Your choices

• You can update or delete your saved jobs, resumes, alerts, and application tracker entries at any time from your account.
• You can turn AI features on or off at any time in Account → Preferences.
• You can cancel your paid membership at any time from the billing portal; this stops future charges but does not itself delete your account data.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

7. Data retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Resumes and drafts are private to your account unless you explicitly change your privacy settings.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
